1956 Continental Mark II

ENJOY THE VIDEO BELOW-

At the time one of the world's most expensive cars, the 1956 Continental Mark II's sticker price exceeded $10,000.

Not only was the 2nd generation Continental one of the most tasteful designs of its era, it was one of the most well-built American automobiles ever. The Continental was a stand-alone model for Ford, not to be be confused with a Lincoln.

The Continental Mark II's were produced from 1955 to 1957. Only 3,000 were produced in total.

The introduction of the Mark II ushered in a stunning new rendition of the first post-war Continental since the 1948 carry-over model.

Owned by worldwide celebrities such as Elvis Presley and Sammy Davis Jr., the Continental Mark 2 was ahead of its time. The division actually lost approximately $1,000 on car sold due to the time devoted and quality of the Continental.
