1972 Chevy Corvette Stingray

The 1972 Chevrolet Corvette saw few changes from the '70 and 71' model years. This was the last Corvette to feature a chrome front bumper. This was also the first year of emissions control & the Corvette was no exception. Even though horsepower levels were lower, the performance stayed the same. Sales continued to climb with 26,949 Vettes sold in '72.

This example features custom brilliant red paint along with a detailed factory interior and mild performance built 350 cubic inch V8 engine.

The 1972 Corvette was almost identical to the 1970 and 1971 models
